WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) — Purdue center JaJuan Johnson and guard E'Twaun Moore are checking out the NBA draft, but could return for their senior seasons since they aren't hiring agents.
Purdue announced Wednesday that Johnson and Moore would enter the draft, although they have until May 8 to withdraw their names from consideration. The players both said in a school statement that it was possible they could remain at Purdue.
Purdue coach Matt Painter said both players had his full support in considering their options.
The 6-foot-10 Johnson averaged 15.5 points and a team-high 7.1 rebounds this past season. Moore led the team averaging 16.4 points as the Boilermakers went 29-6 and shared the Big Ten regular season title.
