The program director for Women's Week said she couldn't be happier with how it went.
Women's Week is an annual event hosted by the Women's and Gender Studies program at Ball State University and is meant to celebrate the achievements and experiences of women.
It ended Saturday with a series of belly dancing workshops.
Lisa Pellerin, the program director, said she was impressed with how many people came to Monday's "Ethics and Gender Roles in the Twilight Saga."
"[It] was so full, there was barely room for people to stand," she said.
This was Pellerin's first year as director of the Women's and Gender Studies program.
Pellerin said that one of the bigger events was the concert put on by the Women's Chorus on Tuesday.
"The concert was very popular," she said. "We hope we can repeat this event in the future."
Pellerin said the good turnouts were due to the posters placed around campus, advertising for the events and through word of mouth.
