With a team 3.223 grade point average on Ball State University's 4.0 scale, the Ball State men's golf team today was named a Golf Coaches Association of America All-Academic Team.
To be eligible, a team must achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and must submit the GPA earned and the hours attempted by each player on its roster.
Individually, the Cardinals were led by senior Ross Cosat. The marketing and finance major - who is also a 2009 GCA Scholar and 2008 Academic All-Mid-American Conference selection - owns a 3.478 GPA.
The men's golf team continues its fall schedule Oct. 5 at the Xavier University Invitational.
