For the second week in a row a fourth-quarter comeback for Ball State University fell short.
The University of New Hampshire defeated Ball State 23-16 for the school's fifth-straight win against a team from the Football Bowl Subdivision.
The Cardinals struggled offensively for the first three quarters before coming alive in the fourth. Quarterback Kelly Page connected with Seth White for a 21-yard touchdown pass with 8:30 remaining in the game.
On their next possession, the Cardinals drove to the Wildcat's 20 yard line, a 10-yard sack on third down killed the drive with less than three minutes to play.
