DURHAM, N.H. (AP) - Sean Jellison ran for 118 yards and scored two touchdowns to lead the University of New Hampshire to a 24-14 win over St. Francis University on Saturday.

Jellison, who finished with 21 carries, caught a 30-yard touchdown from R.J. Toman and scored on a 70-yard run to give the Wildcats a 21-0 lead in the first quarter.

Toman completed 11-of-23 passes for 95 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions for New Hampshire. Dontra Peters rushed for 56 yards on seven carries.

The Red Flash, who went 0-11 last season, cut the score to 24-14 in the second quarter when John Kelly connected with Anthony Howtze on a 15-yard score. But St. Francis, which had nearly 10 more minutes worth of possession, could not get into the end zone in the second half.

New Hampshire's next game will be against Ball State University at 7 p.m. Saturday at Scheumann Stadium.
