FIELD HOCKEY: Ball State suffers 3-goal loss to Villanova

The Ball State University field hockey team evened its record after losing its second game this weekend with a loss to Villanova University 4-1 Saturday in Connecticut .

The Cardinals out-shot the Wildcats 10-6. Sophomore Katie Norris scored the lone Ball State goal less than one and a half minutes into the match.

Ball State lost both its games this weekend, including an overtime loss to Fairfield University on Friday, after winning two games in North Carolina last week.

Ball State will return to action next Sunday against the No. 19 University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich.
