The Ball State cross country team has dropped out of their meet this Saturday in Bloomington to focus on the upcoming Indiana Intercollegiates, Associate Director of Media Relations Brad Caudill said Tuesday.
The meet is scheduled for Saturday, September 18 in Terre Haute.
By the 18th, the Cardinals will have had about a three-week lapse since their previous meet, an exhibition against the visiting Indianapolis Greyhounds.
The Cardinals finished third out of 21 teams last year at the Indiana Intercollegiates in Bloomington.
Coach Randy Heisler could not be reached for comment Tuesday.
