There will be one less place for people to smoke on the Ball State University campus.
Ball State announced Tuesday that it eliminated the designated smoking area between the Arts and Communications Building and Pruis Hall.
This smoking area was moved at the beginning of Fall Semester from near the Emens Parking Garage to in between the two buildings.
With this location eliminated, Ball State is down to 11 designated smoking areas on campus. The closest smoking locations from the closed area are near Park Hall and the Art and Journalism Building.
