WOMEN'S GOLF: 4 Cardinals named Academic All-Americans

Four members of the Ball State University women's golf team have been named to the National Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholars team.

Kristy O'Connor, Rachael Pruett, Katie Windlan and Sarah Windlan were all named to the team for maintaining a minimum 3.5 grade point average.

O'Connor, who is a German education major from England, has a 3.877 GPA after three years at Ball State. This season, O'Connor tied the Ball State record for the lowest 18-hole round with a 69 at the Eastern Kentucky El Diablo Invitational.

Pruett has a 3.751 GPA after two years at Ball State. The criminal justice major averaged a score 78.88 last season and eight top-20 finishes.

Katie Windlan, an exercise science major, has a 3.758 GPA after one year at Ball State. She averaged a 84.33 average during the season.

Sarah Windlan ended her collegiate career with a 3.846 GPA. The marketing major averaged an average of 83.57 last season.
