The Ball State University women's basketball team announced today that fans are invited to celebrate its season with the team at a reception luncheon on May 2.
The Cardinals will have the reception at 12:30 p.m. at L.A. Pittenger Student Center. The cost is $20 per person to attend.
Ball State won the Mid-American Conference Tournament and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history this season. Ball State beat the University of Tennessee in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, marking the first time the Volunteers ever lost in the first or second round.
