A renovated Talley Food Court in the L.A. Pittenger Student Center will open Aug. 24, adding a few national chains.
According to a press release, the food court will have a Taco Bell and a Starbucks. A salad bar, grill, soups, comfort foods and grab-n-go items such as premade sandwiches, wraps and fruit cups also will be available.
The construction that began in the past year will give Talley a new look. The ceiling will be raised and windows will line the top of the room to provide natural light.
Ball State University's dining staff is excited about the opening, according to the release.
"We are thrilled with this newest addition to the food options on campus and believe the new menu options will be an attraction for students and staff to the freshly remodeled Student Center," Dining Director Jon Lewis said in the press release.
The new hours of operation will be posted to the Dining Web site in the fall. Terrace Cafe will close May 15.
