For the second week in a row and for the third time this season, Ball State University softball pitcher Elizabeth Milian has been named the Mid-American Conference West Division Pitcher of the Week.
The award comes after Milian went 3-0 during the weekend with 20 strikeouts. She is second in the MAC in strikeouts, 146, and third in the league in ERA, 1.86. Her 146 strikeouts is the most she has had in a season.
On Saturday, Milian recorded her fourth shutout of the season against Kent State University, which gave coach Craig Nicholson his 800th career victory.
The Cardinals will next be in action Wednesday when they travel to Purdue University.
