Jeremy Hazelbaker
With a .440 average, Jeremy Hazelbaker has the best batting average in the Mid-American Conference among players with at least five at bats on the season. He also leads the conference with 59 hits and 49 runs scored. He is second in the MAC with 23 stolen bases, third with four triples, third with 94 total bases and third with a .701 slugging percentage. The junior center fielder has been named the MAC West Player of the Week three times this season. He also has five home runs and 26 RBIs on the season as the Cardinals' leadoff hitter. Hazelbaker hit for the cycle against Kent State University.
Alyssa Collins
Alyssa Collins leads the Mid-American Conference in batting average for batters with more than 100 at bats. The sophomore has started every game for the Cardinals as the clean-up hitter and right fielder. She has scored 19 runs, 16 RBIs and a .417 slugging percentage. She has had 11 multi-hit games and the team's longest hitting streak at 11 consecutive games. She is on an eight-game streak that is twice as long as the next closest player. Collins also has four doubles, a triple and 12 stolen bases on the year. She has a .941 fielding percentage in right field.
