OUR VIEW: Go vote

AT ISSUE: Support your fellow students by voting them as winners of Sing in the Shower, Rooftop Comedy or Player of the Year

Students are in line for praise all over the Web these days.

The Ball State Daily News Player of the Year competition is under way at bsudailynews.com. We've selected the top athletes of the year, and now it's up to you to decide who the ultimate athlete is.

Two students have also put themselves at the mercy of online voting competitions. Brendan Nusbaum's interpretation of The Romantics hit "What I Like About You" can be seen at garnierusa.com. Nusbaum was selected out of thousands of entries across the country to be a finalist for the chance to win $5,000.

Nicholas Reczynski's funny film, "Dick Pills," has put him in the running for a free trip to Aspen, Colo. The film focuses around an intervention that two friends have with a friend who has been using male enhancement drugs excessively.

The video can be voted on at rooftopcomedy.com until the end of the day. Be sure to click the link that says vote for films.

When students arrive at college, many begin searching for a niche, someplace they can fit in. These students have successfully found their niches and are now up for anything from bragging rights to a trip to Aspen, Colo.

Ball State University caught the nation's attention with its 12-0 football team this season. These videos show the nation that there is more than a football team at Ball State.

Nusbaum and Reczynski worked diligently, and they've been rewarded. They've been selected as finalists in their competitions.

Support your peers.

You'll be online at least one time today, so take a few minutes to go the Web site and click on your fellow Cardinals.
