Students who usually park in the C1 parking lot on the north side of Ball State University's campus will have to move their vehicles by 10 p.m. Tuesday or else be towed.
Nancy Wray, parking services office manager, said the lot is closing to make room for the Late Nite Carnival, which is scheduled for Friday. The lot will reopen once the carnival clears, which there is no set time for.
An e-mail was sent to students this morning alerting them about the parking change.
Parking Services will not redirect students who usually park there, Wray said, nor will the office allow commuters to park in other types of lots.
