A Ball State University gymnast was named to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team Thursday.
Junior Brittany Bauer, the only Ball State gymnast selected to the squad, was the lone member of the 12-person team to have a 4.0 GPA.
Bauer is an international business and history major. She had a season high of 9.725 in the floor exercise Feb. 27 at the University of Kentucky.
