Former Indiana governor Otis Bowen will speak at a Ball State University-sponsored political participation lecture event, Ball State announced today.
Bowen, who was governor from 1973 to 1981, will be among about a dozen politicians, reporters and scholars who will speak at the 28th-annual Bowen Institute on Political Participation.
Ball State's Department of Political Science is sponsoring the two-day event along with the Bowen Center for Public Affairs. The institute is Saturday and Sunday at the legal offices of Barnes and Thornburg LLP in Indianapolis.
The event will address how to interact with politicians and the media.
