BASEBALL: Game canceled for second straight day

Wet field conditions forced the cancellation of the baseball game between Ball State University and Indiana University on Wednesday afternoon.

The game had been pushed back an hour before it was determined the field was unplayable. No makeup date has been announced. It is the second straight day the Cardinals were unable to play on Ball Diamond. Their game with Huntington University was canceled Tuesday.

Ball State will return to the field Friday to begin a three-game Mid-American Conference series at home with Central Michigan University.
