The Mid-American Conference Tournament is coming to Ball State University, the field hockey team announced this afternoon with the release of its fall schedule.
Ball State will open its season on Aug. 29 at Davidson College. The Cardinals will play their first seven games on the road - with games in North Carolina, Connecticut, Michigan, Ohio and Indiana.
Ball State's first MAC contest will be Sept. 16 at Miami University, the team's sixth game of the season.
Ball State will first play at home when it plays on Sept. 23 against Ohio State University. The Cardinals will have six other home games. Five of the six additional home games will be against MAC teams and all of them will be in October.
Ball State will conclude its 2009 regular season on Nov. 1 at Kent State University.
Ball State will be the host of the MAC Tournament, which will take place from Nov. 5 through Nov. 7 at the BSU Field Hockey Complex.
