Gov. Daniels appoints Ball State trustee

Ball State University alumnus Matt Momper was selected to the university's Board of Trustees.

Gov. Mitch Daniels announced the appointment Jan. 4, Media Relations Manager Layne Cameron said.

Momper, a Ft. Wayne resident, is president of an insulation company, according to a press release. He also serves on the BSU Foundation and the Northwest Indiana Alumni Chapter boards.

Cameron said he did not know who Momper was replacing on the board. Other officials were unavailable for comment.

Cameron said the governor also announced the reappointment of a standing member of the board, Frank Bracken.
