"White Christmas"After being discharged from the military, two men, Bob Wallace and Phil Davis, team up together for a song-and-dance act. Davis plays matchmaker and tries to set Wallace up with one of the girls from another song-and-dance act. Wallace and Davis follow the girls to an inn in Vermont where they are to put on a show, and find their old army general as the owner of the inn. The inn is failing so Wallace and Davis and the two girls put on a show to bring the inn business back.
"Christmas Vacation"Every Christmas the Griswalds have the family over for a traditional celebration; however, everything seems to go wrong. From cutting down a squirrel-infested Christmas tree to the electrocution of the cat, their holiday just continues to get worse with no help at all from the rest of the family guests.
"Elf"As it turns out, an elf named Buddy is not really an elf at all. Santa tells him that he is really a human, and as a baby, he had crawled into his sack and was from then on raised by elves. Buddy's father is a man named Walter Hobbs who happens to be on the naughty list, therefore Buddy leaves the North Pole to find his father in New York. While in New York he finds a family, a girl and a sense of belonging.
"Miracle on 34th Street"A woman named Doris Walker has to find a new store Santa Claus. She soon finds one but he also claims to be the real Kris Kringle. Throughout the movie, he has many skeptics, including Doris and her 6-year-old daughter.
"Love Actually"A Christmas movie that takes place in England includes eight different people each with a different story, who in the end are all interconnected. The entire movie is based on different forms of love and how the characters handle each situation that they encounter whether it be good or bad.
"The Muppet Christmas Carol"All of the muppets play as the characters in Charles Dickens' famous story "The Christmas Carol." Michael Caine performs as Ebenezer Scrooge as the ghosts of Christmas past, present and yet to come, visit him Christmas Eve.
"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer"The 1964 version of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" is the classic story of Rudolph being made fun of for his glowing red nose. Rudolph runs away and is soon accompanied by Hermey the Elf and Yukon Cornelius the Prospector. Throughout their journey, they run into the Abominable Snowman and find an entire island full of misfit toys. Rudolph swears that he will get Santa to help the toys, but when he gets back to the North Pole, Santa's sleigh is fogged in and only Rudolf can help lead the way.
"Frosty the SnowMan"A snowman, Frosty, comes to life after children place a discarded hat on the top of its head. After making friends with the children, Frosty realizes that he will melt if he does not get to the North Pole, so him and a young girl stowed away on a train heading towards the North Pole; however, the pair are being followed by the previous owner of the magical hat.
"How the Grinch Stole Christmas!"On the night of Christmas Eve, the Grinch dresses up as Santa Claus and his dog as a reindeer, and go out into Whoville to steal everything and anything that has to do with Christmas. And to his surprise, on Christmas morning, all the Whos come out of their homes to celebrate Christmas all the same.
"Home Alone"A young boy, Kevin, is accidentally left home over the holiday season by his family. When Kevin realizes that he is home alone, he decorates the house and has his own Christmas. However, Kevin is soon to find out that there are two men who are breaking into the homes on his block, and his is next on the list.
"Santa Clause"Scott Calvin is spending Christmas Eve with his son this year, but unfortunately that night, Santa happens to fall off their roof and dies. Because of this situation, Calvin has to take his place for the next year.
"Prancer"Jessica, a daughter of an impoverished father, still believes in Santa Claus, even though other people have told he is not real; however, she happens upon a reindeer with an injured leg that she nurses back to health. The reindeer's name is Prancer, but when Jessica's father finds Prancer, he tries to sell the reindeer to the butcher.
