Two women's golfers committed Thursday to play at Ball State University next season.
Kristtini Cain from Marion and Katie Windlan from Anderson each signed a national letter of intent to play for the Cardinals.
Cain was the 2007 Westfield Junior PGA Championship Qualifier and a two-time Indiana Masters Tour Champion.
She tied for sixth place at the state meet and earned medalist honors at sectionals last season. She is a 10-time winner on the Indiana Mountain Dew Junior Tour and won at the North Central Conference meet.
Windlan is the sister of Sarah Windlan, who is a junior on the Ball State University women's golf team.
She was a three-time qualifier for the Indiana High School Athletic Association State Tournament.
Windlan was her high school's most valuable player last season as she earned medalist honors at 11 of her 14 matches. She had five top-three finishes on the Indiana Mountain Dew Junior Tour.
"By having such a young team this season, I am truly excited to sign both Kristtini and Katie," coach Katherine Mowat said in a press release. "They both have quality experience and can contribute immediately."
