The North Late Loop is scheduled to begin tonight and will run from 9:50 p.m. until 3:30 a.m.
Ball State University students can take the trolley to five restaurants on Muncie's north end. The restaurants are Bygones Bar and Grill, CJ's, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Sunshine Café and Texas Roadhouse.
Bygones Owner Jeff Phipps said he and the other business owners were focused and knew what they were trying to do with the loop throughout the entire planning stage. The owners have made a commitment to run the loop for six weeks, he said.
Zac Davis, the Student Government Association treasurer, said he wanted people to ride the North Late Loop and be supportive, but he also wanted 1,000 riders to ride the downtown Late Loop because if ridership does not increase, it would stop running.
