IFC appoints members to new positions

Interfraternity Council appointed three of its members to new positions Thursday.

IFC President-elect Cody Willis said he pledged to unite the fraternities from individual houses to a single unit.

"If we can learn to grow as a community, the sky is the limit," he said

Willis, who is the former vice president of programming at Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, said he had a goal of "bridging the gap" between the fraternities and the community.

Tim Dykiel, the new vice president of internal affairs, said he will make sure disputes between fraternities will remain at a minimum.

Kyle Ellis, also a volunteer designer for the Daily News, was appointed as the new vice president of risk reduction.
