The MiXx, a new student-produced show, will air on Cardinal Vision tonight at 9:30 p.m., Executive Producer Starla Loyd said.
The show aims for serious coverage of important issues through panel discussions and reporting, comedy with skits and shows and local talent, she said.
Tonight's show will feature a debate about how students say there is nothing to do on campus, she said. The show also will feature a local artist performing.
Loyd said she and a group of friends came up with the idea of a new show that would offer entertainment that no other student-produced show offered. They taped the pilot during last spring's finals, and the show was approved this summer, she said.
Cardinal Vision is channel 57 on campus, she said.
