El Camino, the Mexican-style restaurant on University Avenue in the Village, reopened under new ownership Friday. The owner, Martin Rodriguez, also owns Las Chalupas, a restaurant in Bargersville, Ind., El Camino employee Alfredo Hernendaz said.
The store will be open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 11 a.m. to 4 a.m. Thursday through Saturday, he said.
El Camino will offer the same menu it did when it was under different ownership, Hernendaz said. El Camino originally opened in late February and closed shortly thereafter.
