Women who purchase birth control through the Amelia T. Wood Health Center pharmacy might soon pay double for the product. The prices of all forms of birth control offered through the pharmacy will increase after the current supply is depleted, Lisa Dorer, staff pharmacist, said.
The official prices of the products following the increase are not known, but Dorer said she expects the prices will be at least double what they are now. Some generic forms of birth control will be available for students who cannot afford the increased rates.
