SGA readies for nominations

In other business, Student Savings Club resolves local problems

Ball State is the only Indiana university participating in the national Recyclemania contest. The university is competing against approximately 200 schools to collect the most recyclable materials.

Presidential slates and senate candidates will be announced at the Nominational Convention Monday at 7 p.m. Campaigning will begin after the convention finishes.

Election voting will begin Feb 26, and SGA election winners will be announced Feb. 27.

The Student Savings Club is offering its services to Muncie businesses for free after many complained about problems with the company. It works with local businesses to provide student discounts.

SGA has seven organizations that have confirmed they will participate in the Multicultural Late Nite on March 3.

Junior Danicia Malone was unanimously approved to the Mayors Commission, which is a group of students who work with Mayor Dan Canan on projects involving the city and university.

The Angels for Life blood drive will be Feb. 12 and 13 in Pruis Hall. It is co-sponsored by SGA and Staff Council.
