Officials ask for advice from students

Suggestions include natural light, Atrium-like decor in building update

Ball State University students who may not have had a reason to go to the L.A. Pittenger Student Center before might want to spend a Friday night bowling, watching a movie or hanging out in student lounges after renovations are made to the more than 50-year-old building. And if student input is taken seriously, the walk across campus to the Student Center may be replaced by a short ride on the shuttle bus.The Student Center staff has gathered students' suggestions for improvement over the years, Bruce Morgan, Student Center and Programs director, said. Cardinal Leadership Roundtables and three student focus groups discussed renovations this school year, he said.Students want a facility that is much more open, naturally lit and has d+â-¬cor like the Atrium, Morgan said.
