Eight of the most popular comic acts featured on the syndicated radio program "The Bob & Tom Show" will perform at 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. tonight in The Paramount Theatre in Anderson, Ind. Tickets to the show are $29.
"Bob & Tom Show" co-host Tom Griswold said the tour gives comedians creative license to perform acts that would not be permitted on the radio.
"They'll be doing the sort of thing you'd see in a theatre or in a nightclub," Griswold said. "It'll be a little saltier, a little more risque - adult humor, for the most part."
Performers featured in the show include former police officer Mike Armstrong, singer/songwriter Tim Wilson and former Wall Street lawyer Paul Mercurio. Chick McGee will host the show.
Griswold said performers will "touch on" certain jokes from the radio show but will also perform new material.
The last time "'The Bob & Tom Show' All-Stars Comedy Tour" performed in The Paramount Theatre, the show was filmed for a Comedy Central special.
"Even if you hate us, the one thing you can't fault is that the theatre is a great venue for anything," Griswold said.
