Clean & Clear tour visits BSU

Students can receive free products, coffee after filling out survey

The lines at the Barnes & Noble coffee shop might be longer than normal today because students have the opportunity to receive a free cup of java.

By filling out a survey for the Clean & Clear campus tour, students can get a free product from Clean & Clear as well as a free cup of Barnes & Noble coffee.

Clean & Clear representatives will be in the Ball State University Bookstore from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, Ball State Clean & Clear representative Gabby Olson said. Ball State is the eighth stop for the Clean & Clear campus tour.

The campus tour's main purpose is to promote Clean & Clear products by offering free samples to students, Olson said.

Senior and Ball State Clean & Clear representative Paige Danner said that by sharing a funny story about waking up in the morning, students also have the opportunity to be in a national commercial and win $1,000. Students willing to share their funny wake-up stories on video will also receive a Clean & Clear gift bag loaded with products and a T-shirt.

If students have a funny story to share, they need to go to the counter in the bookstore set up for Clean & Clear and one of the representatives will take them to the studio to shoot their video, Danner said.

Olson said students can then go to mymorningroutine.com to view their video. The video submitted from Ball State with the most viewers will win $150. The video with the most viewers from the 12 schools on the tour will win $1,000 and have the opportunity to be in a national commercial.

Chasity Dillman took her turn telling Clean & Clear representatives how she used to get woken up in the morning.

"When I was younger my mom used to wake me up by pouring a cup of cold water on my face," Dillman said.

Olson said any students on campus who wish to be a Clean & Clear campus representative can apply at repnation.com. Being a representative for a national company looks good on a r+â-¬sum+â-¬, and representatives get a lot of free products, she said.
