Members of Lambda Chi Alpha collected 1,851 pounds of food onNov. 1 during the 2003 North American Food Drive.
Fraternity members went to the doorsteps of 1,100 Muncie homesto collect food donations. Goods were collected in MarshSupermarket's paper bags. Lambda Chi Alpha gave the food to theMuncie Mission.
Last year, the food drive acquired 2.9 million pounds of foodnationally.
The national branch of Lambda Chi Alpha started the food drivein 1993.
