Student Government Association's president pro-tempore continuedto work Wednesday on encouraging senators to bring theirlegislation to the senate floor.
Senior Ben Tietz, who is responsible for making sure legislationis brought before the senate, provided committees with timetablesfor individual pieces of legislation, SGA president Jayson Manshipsaid. Each timetable depended on the research required for thelegislation.
"It's like a progress report," Manship said.
Essentially, Manship said, if the legislation is not broughtforward before the end of a given timeframe, the senators will beencouraged to begin working on different legislation.
Also during Wednesday's meeting, surveys were passed out forsenators to use to inquire about student interest in Blackboard andoutdoor basketball courts.
