Dear Editor:
I would just like to know why you would allow a story like the Oct. 12 "Visit to another campus proves value of BSU rules" to be published with out looking to the facts. You should have checked everything out before publishing this article. What the article fails to mention is the rules at Saint Joseph's College and that individuals were punished that night because drinking in the dorms is against the rules here. I would also like to know why the article was published with spelling errors and grammatical mistakes that should have and could have been easily fixed.-รก
As for the bar we have on campus, that is true, but what the article failed to mention is that is for those who are 21 and over and you must be a member to enter. The bar is there because the college can then be certain that students are not driving to bars, drinking and then driving back to SJC. Also our rules here are strict when it comes to being caught drinking. All of our residence halls are livable and we do not have the anarchy that is described in the article. Your writer took one isolated event and blew it in to something bigger.
