WOMEN'S GOLF: Cardinal golfers go on road

After a respectable performance at the Cardinal Classic, wherethey finished second, the Ball State women's golf team looks tocontinue its success in the Youngstown State Invitational.

This weekend's invitational will be the first road match of theyear for the Cardinals. It will take place at the Avalon South GolfCourse in Warren, Ohio, and will mark the beginning of 10-straightroad matches.

BSU was led in the Cardinal Classic by freshmen Chelsie Flanneryand Amber Uphaus, who both tied for 9th individually in the 17-teamfield. The two had a 153 total through 36 holes while Flannery ledall golfers after one round.

The Invitational begins on Sunday and concludes Monday in thefinal round for the 36-hole event.
