Former Ball State head football coach Bill Lynch was hiredMonday by the Ball State athletics department as an associateathletics director for community relations.
Lynch served as the Cardinals' head football coach from1995-2002 and was an assistant football coach at Ball State from1990-1992.
In his new role, he will be involved in fund-raising campaigns,corporate hospitality and ticket sales for the athletic department.Lynch will also handle the daily administrative duties for women'ssoccer, men's volleyball, men's and women's swimming and men's andwomen's track and cross country.
Ball State also promoted Ken Brown, Pat Quinn, Rob Richards,Kathy Muffenbier and Chris Taylor to a variety of positions withinthe athletics department.
