Dear Editor,
I have lived in Cardinal Villas this past year, which is a CJB/Asset Management property. My roommate and I went for almost a month without a properly functioning water heater, and for a week with absolutely no hot water.
Asset Management was willing to fix the water heater; however, it took them six times to get it right. After one such repair, the control panel was left exposed, and we were given the instructions, "Don't touch this, you'll be electrocuted!"
Shortly after the maintenance crew left, water spewed from the heater all over our kitchen. Yes, while the electrocution hazard was still exposed! Asset Management has been nothing but rude and disrespectful to me about the deposits and totally unwilling to help. I'll never rent a property managed by them again.
