Two of the three men who have been accused of robbing Ball State students at a house party early Sunday morning were still in jail Tuesday night.
Kelii Kahaleomo, 18, 502 W. Main St., posted bail before he was jailed Sunday, an officer at the Delaware County Jail said.
Johnathon R. Mitchell, 19, 1901 N. Elgin St. and Brian Nash, 20, 1608 S. Jefferson St., remained in jail.
Muncie police arrested the three men, none of whom were Ball State students, on charges of armed robbery after receiving a call about a man with a gun at 2008 W. Main St.
When police arrived around 4:30 a.m. Sunday, they saw Nash coming out of a door on the west side of the house, according to police reports. An officer ordered Nash to the ground at gunpoint.
Police then went inside the house, which was "chaos," police said. Officers ordered everyone to lie on floor and then searched the house. They found Kahaleomo and Mitchell in a second-floor bathroom.
Residents of 2008 W. Main St. told police that they were having a keg party Saturday night and that about 200 people had been in and out of their house. One of the roommates was selling cups for the keg when a man approached him and took between $30 and $40 from him, which the resident had collected while selling the cups.
After the man took the money, residents cleared everyone out of the house between 2 and 3 a.m. A friend of the residents called them and said he saw the suspected robbers drive away in a mini-van, but that on his way home he saw the mini-van return to the neighborhood on West Main Street, according to police reports.
As one of the roommates went to lock the house's doors, three men walked into the house. One of the men pulled out a gun and demanded money.
One of the other roommates slipped into his room and called police, according to police reports.
When the police arrived, one of the residents identified Mitchell as the man who pulled out the gun and Kahalekomo as his assistant, reports said. Nash was linked to the two men.
Police searched the house, found a gun in a downstairs bathroom and arrested the three men.
