Dear Editor,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the people who have been a part of my basketball career and have meant so much to me during it.
I have played for some of the best coaches in the state of Indiana from high school to college. My coaches here at Ball State have been unbelievable. They have helped me in more ways than I can count.
The people of Ball State University have been wonderful as well. I would like to thank the university for giving me a chance to get an education and to play basketball. I will be forever grateful for the opportunity to play in my hometown.
I would also like to thank the fans of Delta and Ball State. You are all very special to me. The fans make the game much more fun to play.
With that said, I will not be back at Ball State next season. There are numerous factors that went into making this difficult decision. My family and I have weighed the options and this seems to be the right one.
In addition to those listed above, there are some very important people that I need to thank. My wife, Melissa; my parents, Karen and Rob, Sr. and my brother, Kelly. They have been unbelievably supportive and have helped me reach my goals. Each of them have made sacrifices in order for me to be in this position. I would also like to thank my grandparents and relatives for following me to all my games over the years.
The memories that I will take with me are too many to count. I have loved every minute of my career at Delta and Ball State. I hope all of the people who have helped me along the way know just how much they mean to me.
