1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Maring-Hunt Library, 2005 S. High St.: Literary Fair and Read-Out.

6:30 p.m. March from Central High School to Christ Temple Church — bring your own flashlight; MITS pickup at 6 p.m. at Scramble Light.

7 p.m. at Christ Temple Church, 654 N. Jefferson St.: Martin Luther King Jr. Day program.

7:30 p.m. at Cardinal Hall A and B in the Student Center: Martin Luther King Jr. Day service.

Tuesday:

11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Art and Journalism Building: Informational materials distributed.

*5 p.m. at the Teacher's College, Room 101: Black Student Association meeting.

*7 p.m. in front of Emens Auditorium: Candlelight vigil.

*8 p.m. at Emens Auditorium: "The Meeting: What if Malcolm X and Martin Luther King Jr. could really have talked?" Free admission.

Wednesday:

11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Art and Journalism Building Atrium: Community service project; donations benefit A Better Way, Salvation Army and the Muncie Mission.

5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Teacher's College, Room 101: Panel discussion focusing

on minorities within the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered community.

*6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Student Center, Room 305: Latino Student Union meeting.

Thursday:

6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Schiedler Club House: Multicultural Fair.

8 p.m. in the Student Center: Spectrum meeting.

Friday

8 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom: Sixth Annual AKADEMY Awards (talent showcase) — admission $3; RH Bulletin Board Contest winner and other awards announced.

Saturday

2 p.m. at Pruis Hall: Miss Unity scholarship pageant; admission $2.
