After a short stint at home, Ball State Gymnastics (8-4, 2-0 MAC) was back on the road to take on No. 11 Denver, No. 18 BYU and Bowling Green. Ball State was looking to get a preview of next week’s competition as it will face Bowling Green next weekend.
The Cardinals started out on beam where junior Kaitlyn Menzione lead the team with a score of 9.800. The Cardinals transitioned into floor where Menzione and senior Clare Collins fell into a four-way tie for seventh with a score of 9.825.
Going into vault, the Cardinals excelled. Freshman Arden Hudson hit a personal record with a score of 9.850, tying for fourth place. Menzione followed with a score of 9.825. The Cardinals finished on bars where sophomore Maddie Macdonald hit a personal record score of 9.875 to tie for third place. The Cardinals would finish off the night in second place with a score of 195.450.
